Vrij Groen is a sustainable garden for Leiden and the surrounding areas. You are welcome to come on our gardening afternoons (Wednesdays and Saturdays, please mail or call in advance) to look around or to work in the garden.
We have many flowers, a vegetable garden and a Christmas tree shelter, which has been around for more than ten years. Christmas trees are brought in January and we take care of them until they are picked up again in December for another Christmas.
Gardeners and visitors can see what one can do with edible and nature-friendly greenery in the city and how to use old and reusable materials in the garden. Would you like more information, to join or to receive a newsletter? Mail: vrijgroen@ideewinkel.nl
